Pastor Robert C. Timlin, Sr. has been a United Methodist all
his life, growing up as an active part of Fox Chase UMC with
his family of origin and attending Philadelphia public
schools. Rob graduated with honors from Temple University
[BA in Music Education], Asbury Seminary [Master of
Divinity] and Princeton Seminary [Master of
Theology/Pastoral Counseling]. Rob & Debbie met at
Asbury in 1988 and married November 11, 1989 at FoxChase UMC.
I’ve been serving as a U.M. Pastor my whole career;
first as an Associate Pastor during college, seminary,
and briefly after graduating.
Most of my life I have answered the call that Jesus gave me
as a Senior Pastor/Shepherd with Debbie as my faithful partner in
ministry and mission through-out our married life together.
I like to sum up our core values for life with the ABC’s as it is
simple and memorable for most any topic or challenge we face.
By the power of our risen Lord Jesus Christ and His own Holy Spirit in us,
we ask God our Father to lead us into His will and ask Him to
fulfill His divine purposes to us and through us,
fervently praying together for these results/blessings in His timing:

• Christ Centered
• Devoted Disciples
• Excited Evangelists

We are so very grateful to share that all three of our
‘children’ are now married adults who are also very active in
Christian Ministry and Mission with the same core values.
Rob Jr. and Jeni and little Sofia are living in Madrid, Spain
and soon moving to Honduras near Jeni’s family where
Rob Jr. will teach English and Bible this coming school
year. Ryan and Fah are also Missionaries who reach out
and teach others English and the Gospel of Jesus in
Chiang Mai, Thailand. Christy and her husband Joshua
are recently married and living/working in PA. [for now!]
where they are both also very ministry and mission
minded in their work and volunteering with Grace Bible
Church in Dunmore, PA.
