Amazing Grace is a contemporary worship
gathering held in the church
sanctuary
every Sunday morning at
8:30 a.m. Worship
is based on a message by
Pastor Larry and lots
of contemporary praise and worship music. An
extended time of singing
is lead by one of our
Praise Teams.
Communion
by intinction is available the first Sunday of the
month. Dress is casual, comfortable (you'll see
shorts when it's hot!). And if you're not used to
going to church, don't worry! We use a large
projection screen (just like at the movies), where we
show the song lyrics, occasional movie clips, and
PowerPoint enhanced messages to help you feel more
comfortable.
This gang is amazed at the power of God - in our worship
as we enter into the holiest place of God and by the
mighty works God is doing in our midst. If you
haven't heard, people are finding God here.
Lives are being changed! One warning: God
loves you just as you are, but God loves you too much to
leave you that way. What mighty work will God do in
your life?

Celebration Service

The Celebration Service is truly a celebration! This high-energy, fast-moving
service is a convergence of the very best of all worship styles:

The great hymns of the faith are sung along with the most spiritual
contemporary worship songs. The music may be accompanied by a CD, by a piano, or
an organ, or a keyboard, drums and other instrumentalists.

Any given week you may pray the very payer Jesus taught his
disciples to pray 2000 years ago, or join in sharing a prayer for the hungry and
needy of the world today.

Music is central to the joy of this service as the Celebration Choir
leads the church family in singing. Each month the “Cherubs” bring smiles to our
faces and the Youth Choir generates applause to God for their efforts. And, you
won’t want to miss the guest appearances of the “HIMS of Faith,” a group of men
who are so dynamic you just have to hear them for yourself.

Nursery and Sunday School are provided for children during the
service, although children are always welcomed as shown in the number of
baptisms that frequently bless us as a growing church family.

At this service you will see, hear, and experience it all: Silence
blends into laughter. Videos fade into singing. Movie clips enhance Pastor
Larry’s sermons. Even the best of the media is use to glorify God.
If you haven’t figured it out, yet, the key to the Celebration service is that
it is a “Convergent Service,” where the best we have to offer is used, simply,
to glorify God; where the convergence of our faith connects with the awesome
presence of God. The point where everything intersects is the stuff of miracles
as God moves in our hearts and lives.

Traditional Service
(Traditional)
The
Grace Church community gathers every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the
Sanctuary
for worship with
Pastor Larry preaching a Bible-based message. Hymns are sung
from the traditional Methodist hymnal. Special music
is provided by one of the Grace Church's
choirs or by guest soloists or groups.
