First, know this: Romans 5:1 1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16 16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 10:10b 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;  I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.   Second, realize this situation: Romans 3:23 23You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? Romans 6:23 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.     Third, God gave the remedy:   1 Timothy 2:5 5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 3:18a 18For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. Romans 5:8 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.   Finally, our response is easy: Revelation 3:20 20Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." John 1:12 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Romans 10:9 9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
