July 25, 2010  “Lost in the Shadows” - Based on Colossians 2:16‐19. Today’s Key Verse: Colossians 2:17 — These are a shadow of things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:16‐17 — So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old had gone, the new has come! Romans 6:3 — We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 7:6 — But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. June 20, 2010  “Love Anyway” - Based on Luke 6:27‐36. Today’s Key Verse: Luke 6:35‐36 — But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. May 23, 2010 - Pentecost Sunday "The Wind Blows Wherever it Pleases" - Based on John 3:1-17 Today's Key Verse:  John 3:8 - The wind blows wherever it pleases.  You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.  So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Psalm 119:15-16 — 15 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.16 I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
